Going, going, gone: Check your backups or risk losing your company
Doing a proper MOT on your backup files requires that you see whether all of the files from your backup are not only accessible, but also transferable. For example, even though you may be able to view backup files in your file manager application, such as Windows Explorer, this does not guarantee that you will be able to access them. To ensure your access, you must copy the files back to your hard disk drive. Should there be any media reading difficulty, you will be signalled by an error message.
